WCEM RECEIVES MOBILE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The Washington County  Emergency Management Agency has received a mobile emergency management systems to aid in various aspects of emergency scene management.

This system is compact, self-contained workstation that includes everything First responders need to manage an incident at an emergency scene.   The system was purchased for the County with a portion of the Homeland Security Grant money that was allocated to Region C for First Responder unified statewide badging.

The mobile unit is currently housed at the Washington County Central Dispatch, 911 center and employees there have been trained to, and are in the process of, issuing ID badges to county personnel who may be called upon for assistance during a county-wide crisis.
